Per Friday’s post I’ve been aiming to have more adventures. More little adventures, more big adventures. More everything. And it’s been lovely. This weekend, although it was mostly low key, there were still adventures to be had.
Friday: Spontaneous date night at Island’s lead to good drinks, lovely conversation and football watching. We came home to a low key night of watching more Fringe and sleeping in the living room. Pro Tip: Moving your bedroom mattress to the living room in front of your TV is always a good idea. It’s also a fun idea. It’s also what we did all week long, we are some crazy kids over here.
Saturday: Girls’ brunch in the most pinteresty explosive vegan restaurant ever. And the most delicious. And there was so much laughing and story telling and it’s just nice to have people that get you. The rest of the day was cleaning and organizing and discovering old journals with gems like this:
After a day of organizing Matt and I met up with my father-in-law for a delicious dinner. It was so nice to catch up, drink wine, have tasty food and watch the Dodgers win. The rest of the evening was spent hanging out, watching more Fringe (
Sunday: A morning of football for Matt and movie watching for me. It was the perfect mix. I could hear the football cheers from the front room while I watched British comedies, did laundry, played the Sims, napped. Eventually I joined the guys (sort of) with my book on the patio. And it was the loveliest. And a wonderful way to kick off Fall.
The evening was spent with more football and friends and Emmy watching and texting with friends about TV and just, yes.
And how was your weekend? Any weekend adventures? Good reads? Football watching?
