Lazy weekends are some of the best weekends. I probably say that every time I have a lazy weekend and I mean it every single time.
Friday: After another particularly busy and exhausting week at work I rewarded myself with a huge glass of wine and Matt ordered wings and cheesesticks (horrible for a diet, excellent for a happy evening) and we enjoyed a nice night in watching The Avengers. It was exactly what the weekend doctor ordered.
Saturday: Started the day nice and early with a delicious breakfast date with Drea and Nicole which was simply lovely. It was so fun to hear about Nicole’s running adventures and to catch up with Drea and to discuss all sorts of television and movies and eat delicious breakfasty things and just, the best.
The rest of my afternoon was spent making a big decision and buying a watch! After several of your recommendations I finally settled on the Michael Kors rose gold and yeah, I’m sort of in love. Still getting used to wearing a watch and still need to figure out how to actually set all the little things but I am a fan.
After my big ole purchase we went to my brother and sister-in-law’s new apartment for some burgers and football and just a fun evening all around.
Sunday: My kind of lazy day with catching up on the DVR, a little bit of shopping, a pedicure and just yes. The only downer was that LA still hasn’t got the memo of Autumn and gave us 99 degrees of awful, blah. So minus that it was the perfect kind of day/afternoon/evening needed to round out a relaxing weekend before a super busy week of travel ahead (wee! one week til our trip!).

The heat sounds amazing to me! In Portland we still have some 80 degree weather and I am relishing the last of the “heat”.
