Why hello there, sit down, stay a while, enjoy some wine with me why don’t you?
This week’s Wino Wednesday is brought to us by the awesomely named Mommy Juice Wines:
Here’s a little something about them:
MommyJuice Wines was founded by Cheryl Durzy, a mom of 2 and 10+ year veteran of the wine industry in Sales and Marketing at Clos LaChance Wines. These wines were inspired by her young children that point to wine glasses everywhere claiming “That’s Mommy’s Juice!” Her vision includes balanced, fruit-forward wines that bring just a bit of peace after the chaos of everyday life as a parent.
I mean, how cute is that? I’m not a mom yet but I can definitely support the idea of Mommy’s Juice!
I decided to open up the white blend first because it’s been so freaking hot and the idea of white wine to cool down the evening is just lovely. And oh man, was it tasty. It’s a 100% Chardonnay blend so the chances of me not liking it were pretty slim. It was crisp and quite citrussy, the perfect wine to pair with a pizza dinner and then have another glass for dessert (which is exactly what I did!). And the fact that it’s a twist cap always makes my life easier and the label is cute and just yes, so tasty. I definitely loved this one.
We also opened up the red blend to give it a try despite the fact that scorching heat really deters me from the reds. But man, so smooth. It had a great berry flavor to it and definitely mellowed me out for the evening. It made me a little bit sleepy but I think that was mainly due to the fact that I just haven’t been drinking as much lately and my tolerance is sinking. Other than that the berry flavor and the tart after taste made it a great ending to my evening and I definitely discovered that I love red blends.
All in all both wine blends were delicious and I love being able to add them to the list.

Yum! We’re going to a wine and music festival up in the mountains here in Colorado this weekend. The leaves are starting to change, it’ll be gorgeous!
Mommy could use some juice right about now.
Wine puts me to sleep, too. Not sure how I feel about that!
