There are two things I always want to know: What time it is and what’s the temperature.
Luckily with the magic of the Weather.com app on my iPhone and a temperature thingy in my car I always have the answer to that question. On the other hand (literally!), I don’t have a watch. I rely on my phone or other peoples’ phones and their watches to know the time. I haven’t owned a watch in over four years.
I mean I did wear a watch back in the day but it was so small and I’m practically blind so it was pretty much just like I was wearing another bracelet.
And then the other day Jamie posted about watches that were pretty and fun and it got me thinking again, should I rejoin the adult world and buck up and own a watch again?
Watches are pretty, but there are so many factors: Big or small? Gold or silver? Or leather? Or fabric? Does it need date things? Will it look too manly on my skinny wrist?
You see? This is what my brain goes through deciding over a WATCH. Can you just imagine how I am over actually important big decisions? Ha.
So are you a watch wearer? What kind do you wear? Do I even need one?
happy thursday!

I wanted that watch when Jaime posted it too! And I want that love bracelet in the lower right corner haha.
I always wear a watch, but I want to start getting some more casual fun ones, I only have a Coach watch which is nice, but sometimes I think a little too dressy for my generic t-shirt/jeans wardrobe.
I highly recommend Feral Watches. You gals will LOVE them!
Our brains must be in sync. I’ve been contemplating a new watch as well. I love the one Jamie posted. I definitely want something fun and casual. I’m not a fan of big fancy-pants watches.
I don’t wear a watch either but I have seen tons of photos and facebook posts about watches and etc. And I haven’t worn one since the awesome Minnie Mouse one my grandpa gave me years and years ago, then the battery died and I never replaced it. Still have the watch though.
I feel as though big watches look too large on me or too fancy. Maybe it’s time I get over that (no pun intended)
I do the SAME THING! It took me forever to buy a watch because I had no idea what to buy. I *think* I actually have that one on the bottom right? If it’s a rose gold Michael Kors. I never thought I could pull off a larger watch because my wrists are grossly small, but I love it!!!
I use my phone, so I don’t wear a watch. Never gift a watch or a clock to a Chinese person. It’s bad luck.
oooooooooooooo do i love me some watches!
i currently have two Michele watched that i switch between, one has a square face and one has a round face with diamond bling, so i feel like i can be more sporty or more fancy. the other good thing about Michele watches is you can buy different bands i have leather and chain, also depending on my mood.
do it!
if not, get a michael kors, i think it would look great on you.
I got a Michael Kors watch with the bigger face and I love it. Perfect for dressing casually, and it can even dress up. I did a basic silver – love the golds & the rose golds, but other than costume jewelry, I don’t usually wear that color but they look awesome. Consider me on Team Watch!
I have super skinny wrists, but I still wear a big watch–I don’t think it looks silly or manly
It was also important that it have big numbers and that each hour have a marking. I’m horrible at telling time, and just can’t do it on those dainty watch faces with just a 12 or something on them! Mine is a pretty plain, silver Marc Jacobs and it’s lasted me almost four years now.
I got a Marc Jacobs watch for my birthday and its been the funnest arm candy ever!! Rose gold is where its at now
I actually went through this SAME dilemma about a year ago. I started watch shopping last summer for REAL. I knew exactly what kind of watch I wanted, and I wouldn’t buy one until I found the exact kind I wanted. It had to be white, but not cheap looking, big face, and something that could dress up or down. It wasn’t until this past February that I found the perfect Michael Kohrs watch at an outlet sale in Florida and I’m SO in love with my watch, STILL. And now I’m obsessed and ready to find the second one to add to my collection! I don’t wear my watch every day, but I love having it as an accessory. I think it’s totally worth shopping around until you find the one that you think will work with your style!!
Despite the fact that I normally check the time on my iPhone, I wear a watch every time I go to work or out and feel naked without it. It is a Fossil that my husband got us for our first anniversary.
