Today I’m taking a page out of the lovely Kerri’s sidebar and talking a little about what’s going on over here. Because you know, I don’t talk about myself nearly enough on this blog, ha.

wearing. Scarves! So many scarves, all the time, every day. It’s finally cold enough to rock a scarf and oh how I have. One day I’ll do a post all about my scarves because oh I have so many (more than any SoCal girl should really, but ah!).
excited about. Weekend plans of birthday parties and movie dates. The best kind of plans.

eating. Ramen. No I’m not a college student any more but I still love Ramen. And adding things to it. Like broccoli and peas and green onions and egg and YUM.

watching. After binge watching Homeland last weekend I’m at a loss as to what I actually want to start next. So I’ll just stick to Big Bang Theory, ALL THE TIME. THE FUNNIEST. BEST.

listening to. Florence & The Machine. I keep alternating between her two CDs (yes I still buy CDs) in my car and I cannot get enough. I feel so hip and emo at artsy all at the same time when I listen to her.

reading. The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks. Such a fascinating story. And there is science speak and I’m not hating it, so definitely a good sign.

dreaming about. Home buying, trip planning, all things adultlike (and it’s freaking me out!).

loving. Emails from friends, Skype plans and dinner dates with Matt.

detesting. Traffic. It is never a good thing. Ever.

hoping. That Matt’s surgery next week goes well and his recovery goes even better.

wondering. When I’ll ever figure out how to be an actual adult.

And what are you currently doing?

happy weekend!

Ah, Big Bang Theory is one of the best shows. Sheldon Cooper is hot stuff, man. :)

My former roomie got me hooked on BBT :) I am with you as regards the scarves. I have SO MANY. I wear them year-round. It could be 100 degrees, and I might still wear a scarf, ha! I read Henrietta Lacks last year. The subject of the book is really interesting, even if I ended up not appreciating the writing very much. Well wishes to Matt!

I might be one of the few out there who doesn’t watch BBT! One of these days. I always seem to get into shows a few seasons into the series, for some reason! Well, except for Pan Am…I LOVE it! Do you watch that at all?

I got a scarf for Christmas that I don’t hate and I’m considering getting into scarves as a result. I’ve got that book on my to-read list, sounds utterly fascinating and also I’m a science geek so clearly it’s for me. Hope Matt’s surgery goes smoothly and he has a speedy recovery!

My dad grew up in Japan so I grew up eating a lot of ramen. We ate it like you do – with LOTS of good stuff in it. As I got older and started hearing people refer to it as “poor man’s food”, I was so confused. I always thought it was some fancy gourmet food! Ha! I still love it :-)

Katelin…you are in my brain! I am also listening to Flo nonstop, and that book is on my nightstand to read. But you need to tell me more about this ramen thing. What’s the red sauce?

I like the way you formatted your ‘currently’ post!! I read about half of Henrietta Lacks before starting to lose interest, and although I really wanna finish reading it, I constantly seem to forget about it! Looking forward to seeing how you like it :)

Scarves are my favorite accessories too! And if I ever come across Shedon I would hug the crap out of him. He makes my day a happy one.

I’m currently always wondering when I will figure out a real adult. You summed that up nicely. I’m also packing up lots of stuff and moving it into a new place and adjusting my life accordingly. And stressing every so often over that.

Now I kind of want to steal this. I love doing these just for looking back on it later… that weird? Haha!
Fingers crossed that Matt’s surgery goes well and recovery is quick!
And your ramen has my mouth watering by the way.
Can’t wait to see you in MAY! :D

I wear a scarf EVER CHANCE I get, despite our temperate LA weather. Scarves are just awesome.
