Today my baby brother graduates 8th grade, officially making him a high schooler. And I officially freak out.
I mean, what no. He’s the baby. I remember when he was born. I was home with my other little brother trying to explain to him that he was a big brother. I was thirteen and jumping for joy for another little bebe in the family (clearly I’ve always loved kids and babies and let’s just say I’m maternal, haha). He’s the baby I said would look most like me (it’s true, he does). He’s the baby that turned into the kid that I blamed my obnoxiously loud burps on (and still do). He’s the kid that loves Power Rangers more than any human being should and it cracks me up every time. And he’s the sibling that’s still shorter than me (for now, give or take a year and he’ll be taller).
And now that little baby is a high schooler, can someone please tell me how that happened?

It hasn’t been the easiest road getting you to high school but you’ve made it and I’m so proud of you. I love that you call me big sister more than you call me Katelin and that you look up to me. I’ve always tried to set an example for you, Kyle and Kourtney and I’ll always be there for you little man. And just so you know I’ll probably shed some tears at your graduation, it’s what I do.

Aww, how sweet is this? Congrats to your baby brother. Love that he calls you his big sister still. (When my bro calls me “sis” or big sis, I get all melty.) Enjoy the graduation =)
My little sister is less than a year younger than I am, yet I STILL get nostalgic and schmoopy over milestones like this too! Congrats to Kurt!

watching my little brothers grow up has been very surreal too. Its crazy to think that I used to feed them bottles and now they are turning 21. Weeeeird!Congratulations to your brother!
